Frames

Frame Type is the foundation. Our 1" Square Poly Vinyl Chloride (PVC) pipe (left) and 1" Square Anodized Aluminum pipe (right) are both created using a mold unique to us. The fittings used to connect the pipe together are also molded custom to us. With CDE, you're investing in the future with your animal by purchasing an especially designed product that can't be replicated with commercial materials, and can withstand the test of time.
Wire

We have a wide variety of Wire Types to fit a wide variety of animal specific needs. Our standard wire is marine grade 1" x 2" Black PVC Coated Galvanized Steel Wire, which is electrostatically bonded to the wire for ultimate protection and longevity. The wire is galvanized after welding, fortifying the product with extra corrosion resistance. It will not peel or crack (which is the case with powder-coating), as it is made for harsh marine environments high in acidity and isn't susceptible to damage from moisture.
Hardware

Our major hardware is marine grade stainless steel. From our Bolts to our Spring-Loaded Safety Latches, we've procured the perfect anti-rust collection of hardware for our enclosures. It's still a good idea to put Vaseline on the bolts to provide extra lubricant, especially if you're not planning to disassemble your units for deep cleaning often. Debris build up can cause trouble removing the bolts, so a little forethought goes a long way. Remember: how our product is taken care of increases or decreases its lifespan, but if kept well, it can last 50+ years.
The wire clips and rivets are Anodized Aluminum, and our screws are steel with zinc plating finish.
Solids

Each Solid Panel, Litter Guard, or Solid Floor is made out of Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS) Plastic. Traditionally, it can become discolored over time, limiting its outdoor applications. We upgraded our ABS plastic to include a laminated coating which prevents discoloration, keeping the plastic its original color.
Molded Floors (A Notable Feature)

Mentioned above as also being made of the upgraded ABS Plastic, our floor mold is yet another CDE exclusive that is unparalleled in longevity or aesthetic. It's a signature of our product's design due to the molded wrap around edges that act as a lip, able to contain liquid or material debris.

Add-On Options are available to customize flooring. Customers have a choice between an Access Hole, which simply allows for access between units, a Recessed Litter Pan (an Access Hole with a removable litter pan inside), and a Trap Door that swings under the floor and can be locked or opened depending upon preference and level of animal dexterity.
